New Photoshop Trick 2!

For my second Photoshop Trick, I watched a tutorial on how to make your text have this double neon effect. I think this trick would be ecspecially useful to advertise parties and events of that sort, because it really pops. This trick is another nice and easy one, you get to mess with this "Outer Glow" feature and change all these options around, with a nice effect. You can also save your text as a style, so all your text has the same effect, but I went with a different style for the second text. The shadow for "Western" was very easy to make, not like those tricky shadows you made us do in Digital Imaging I.

New Photoshop Trick!

For this new idea, I listened to this guy tell me how to make my Text go Vertical, to make interesting results.  It's quick and easy, and when I heard of the idea, I immediatly thought of the Matrix Trilogy, and how there's always that green number-y text going up and down, so I did that. It is a very fast trick, but I thought the idea was fun. I used a gradient to make the text kind of fade, because I think the downside to this idea is it distracts from the original photo, which is Neo from the Matrix.

Kaliedoscope

Here is my Kaliedoscope image, as you can possibly tell, it is the White House. I originally thought this would be difficult, but that good guy Gavin from Youtube simplified it. I think that the final outcome of this project is VERY cool, and I think this was a fun new Photoshop method.

Review of PhotoFunia

I decided to review Photofunia for this, and I came to some interesting results. Now, my picture of myself that I took is poor because the lighting is bad, but the overall result was rather satisfying. I like Photofunia and all of it's neat effects, I think it's a nice little "Cheat" to get around using complicated Photoshop techniques, with good results.

Midterm

I chose to do UVA football for my Midterm because every fall, tens of thousands of Virginia fans come together to see one of Charlottesville's most treasured traditions, and I expressed it by kind of using the images in this project to show how UVA football has evolved since 1931, the construction of Scott Stadium which in my mind is one of the biggest landmarks in Charlottesville. The project displays Scott Stadium from 4 different decades, and players from 3 different decades. The players displayed are UVA legends Chris Long and Anthony Pointdexter, and NFL Pro-Bowler Herman Moore.
